Cosmetic Dentistry
An "impacted" tooth refers to a tooth that could not emerge fully into its expected position. This failure to erupt correctly may occur because there is not enough room in the person's jaw to accommodate the tooth, or because angle of the tooth is improper. Removing impacted third molars is sometimes necessary to avoid having it press against the other teeth and pushing them out of place.

Their function is to correct problems such as gaps between the teeth, chips, cracks, stains, discoloration, worn down enamel, slightly uneven or irregularly shaped teeth. We are among Costa Rica's most experienced specialists in porcelain laminate veneers and compaste resin, which we fabricate in our own state-of-the-art dental laboratory. With our veneers we match both shape and color of adjacent teeth creating a “seamless finish”, in order to deliver a beautiful smile with natural looking results.
Crowns
There are several reasons to opt for a dental crown, maybe you have a particularly weak tooth, or you have a tooth that is extremely discolored, or you just wish to have a crown placed for cosmetic reasons. Also a “crown” can be used when a tooth is damaged extensively and reconstruction with a filling, an inlay, or a veneer is no longer possible.
Bone Graft
Bone grafts are used as a filler in order to facilitate bone formation and wound healing. Is a surgical procedure that replaces missing bone with osseous material from patient′s own body, an artificial, synthetic, or natural substitute. Bone tissue has the ability to regenerate completely, then natural bone grows and replaces the graft material, filling the region with new dental bone.
Crown Lengthening
So This is a treatment focused on the excessive gingival tissue. Also known as a gummy smile, because the smile appears to have short teeth. Teeth are actually regular size, but are partially covered with gum tissue. Therefore, crown is the only visible part of the tooth. Crown lengthening can be requested for cosmetic purposes or to expose decayed or broken areas of teeth.

Although most gum remodeling occurs within the first year, changes in gums and bone continue throughout one's lifetime. Dentures may become loose over time and it can cause a lot of problems, especially in the quality of life. Improving the fit of dentures will give the patient back his/her confidence and ease of mind knowing that the dentures will not become loose anymore or won’t cause them discomfort.
Tooth Extraction
Tooth extraction is recommended when tooth decay has destroyed enough tooth structure to prevent restoration. Sometimes it is also necessary to be able to open room for orthodontic treatment.
