Hindi numbers 1 to 100 system in Hindi is quite different from that in English. In Hindi ginti, the numbers from one to nine are spoken as one word, while the numbers in hindi from ten to nineteen are spoken as two words. The number twenty is spoken as three words, and the numbers from thirty-one to ninety-nine are spoken as four words. For example, the number sixteen is spoken as "saath teen" in Hindi.
